Mother to Gia, 9, Gabriella, 6, Milania, 5 and Audriana, 11 months, Teresa Giudice from The Housewives of New Jersey says that her daughters are not too young to wear makeup.

“They see their mommy doing it and they want to do whatever mommy does,” the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 38, tells UsMagazine.com.

Do you agree with this housewife? Should a 9 year old wear makeup? Discuss.

I think it’s fine for playing dress up or professional family photos, or a tiny (read: tiny) amount of lip gloss. More than that on a daily basis isn’t necessary, and just looks bad on someone so young. Now, as someone who had horrible acne as a pre-teen, I am fine with things such as concealer once puberty hits around 11 or so.
