This is a quick easy breakfast to make Sunday night, leave it in the fridge, and simply have with breakfast for the week. Make one jar for each day – enjoy all week.

5 minutes
serves 1
Vegetarian

Ingredients:
•1/4 cup old fashion oats
•1/4 cup yogurt
•1/3 cup milk
•1tsp. chia seeds
•2 tbsp. Vermont maple syrup
•1 8ounce jar with a lid

Directions:
1.Place milk, yogurt, oats, chia seeds and maple syrup in the jar.
2.Seal with the lid and shake until everything is mixed.
3.Place in the fridge and boom! Breakfast is served!

If you are a mom of boys (like I am) you know how simple shopping for them can get, however this semester try something new….layering and bold colors.  All in all, you can take your bold colors and take them through fall just by layering.

Also, the skater cool look is not going anywhere. even though it’s been around for a couple of seasons.  The skater look is all about looking cool. you know, think hoodie, skinny jeans , lots of plaid, vans and high tops .

Hello Spa Lovers, over the weekend I visited the newly opened Sweet Heaven Family Spa located in Hartsdale, NY (only 30 minutes outside of New York City) for Lil B’s back to school haircut. I have been growing out his hair throughout the summer and now that with Kindergarten bearing its head in only a few short weeks I decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to visit and naturally review the family spa located right on Central Park Avenue in Westchester.

Sweet Heaven Family Spa is like no other in Westchester…it offers a unique approach to spa, wellness and beauty for the entire family.  That’s correct, this is a place where the entire family can come for relaxation and reconnection.  And they have indeed lived up to their tagline –  “a unique family experience.”

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of mingling with fellow bloggers at an event hosted by Erin and Shawna of Emma Westchester at Benefit Boutique in Rye, NY. It was a great fete of not only meeting fellow female bloggers/entrepeuneurs, but also fellow locals from my neck of the woods – Westchester, NY.

Complimentary makeup, brow and beauty services where available on hand and boy oh boy was I in desperate need of brow services.

The makeup artist on hand touched up my makeup and once I saw her magic, I couldn’t resist the urge to buy this and this from Benefit Cosmetics, which I was told was their hottest and greatest product to date.

And ladies, I swear by threading.  I have had some botched jobs when it comes to brow tweezing, plucking and waxing, so when I discovered the artistry of threading I haven’t looked back.  Threading gives your eyebrows a clean and defined shape. Soon I hope my eyebrows can look like this.

The crop top faze is still in full force and just because you are a mom doesn’t mean you to can’t join in on this trendy top and skirt combo…granted its not the easiest trend to pull off, but its not as intimidating as it appears.
