I have had a few mom friends ask me what beauty brands I simply can’t live without and while my beauty cabinet may look like a drugstore, there are some products that I just swear by and today I am here to spill the beans….

No matter what type of hair type or texture you may have, Motions hair products will keep your hair looking as strong and beautiful as you are, enabling you to achieve a unique style that is all your own!

Check out these how-to videos, where Motions’ very own Celebrity Hair Stylist, Ursula Stephens shows us how to copy these looks in just 4 easy steps. Find out what my favorite look is below and what tools needed to complete the look.

Personally, I love the High Bun aka Top Knot look…Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and yours truly are always seen rockin’ the “ballerina” bun look and trust me this look ain’t going anywhere, anytime soon.

And now with the help of Motions at Home Hair Lotion Original Oil Moisturizer and Motions at Home Light Hold Working Spritz you to can create the high bun look:

Step #1: Prep hair with Motions at Home Oil Moisturizer.

Step 2: Blow out the hair using a boar bristle brush (helps tame pesky flyways ) and to coat hair with moisturizer use a ceramic flat iron to ensure deep conditioning.

Step #2: Tautly secure ponytail using a snag-less rubber band.

Step #3: Twist the hair around and secure with bobby pins.

Step #4: Mist with Motions at Home Light Holding Spray to set.

If you’re eager to try out these looks for yourself, Walgreens has a special deal on Motions products in September. Kits are 25% off and select Motions products are on sale for only $3.49!

What’s your favorite style?

This is a sponsored post for Motions through The bLink Marketing Network and Lunchbox, all opinions are 100% my own.

playdate cards

With my son entering Kindergarten and now with 21 new friends to share his time with, I’ve decided to make Lil B his own business cards.  Well, if moms can have calling cards, then why can’t your  little one have their own calling card when its time to arrange those playdates. To a few of my friends, this sounded insane but, while browsing the internet for templates and/or my favorite handmade craft site, Etsy…there were tons to choose from. Here a roundup of favorite ones and don’t forget to print kurt the below template.   View Post

Now that Fall has arrived, I have been rockin’ riding boots, Uggs and scarves..check out how I pay tribute to Fall this past week.

Click under each photo for details on each thing I am wearing. What are you wearing this week?

What I Wore on The First Day Of Fall: Looking to add some boldness to your outfits? Look to add some fashionable and trendy scarves from Stella & Dot.

What I Wore to the Children’s Tylenol Tweet Up Event: Top from Victoria’s Secret online (similar here), Skirt from Nordstrom (similar here), Accessories by Stella & Dot, Hair by the DryBar in NYC and Studded Gladiator Sandals available here.

What Lil B Wore For Picture Day: Only two weeks into Kindergarten and Lil B had picture day. With that, I headed to one of my favorite clothing stores, H&M, for shopping and without a doubt I was able to find an entire outfit for under $50. Check out H&M.com for the new arrivals.
