The team from Evian® Water has resurfaced with yet another baby commercial, remember the roller-skating babies?

This sequel suggests that Evian brings out the youthful spirit in those who drink it. Adults are seen wearing baby T-shirts with non- stop-motion animation.

Watch the vid and let me know what you think?  is it creepy or does it relay their message?

Claws are coming out on The Real Housewives of New York City.

In a clip from tonight’s all-new RHONY via US Magazine LuAnn de Lesseps confronts Ramona Singer about her not wanting to be in her music video (which is a classic by the way).

“I’m very proud of you for doing it, but I have a daughter. I’m a role model,” Singer, 54, explains. “I’m a mother and I raise my daughter differently than you.”

de Lesseps asks, “What is that supposed to mean?”

“I spend a lot of time with her,” Singer responds. “That’s why she is the way she is. She’s a great girl and I’m very lucky.”

Oblivious to de Lesseps’ backhanded compliment, Singer adds: “When you spend time with your child they turn out well.”

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.

As I browse my favorite sites I came across this great list of celebrating things you like about yourself.  In the end, I found the source of where it all began and had to join in on the fun. Elena from Ciao Mom is doing a series on Reclaiming Me and I absolutely love this concept.  Being a mom is a selfless act and we tend to forget ourselves in the midst of doing it all.  So by reclaiming yourself and knowing your worth join in on the fun and post your own list of things that you like about yourself.

And now the list…Things I Like About Me

  1. I like that am willing to try anything once.
  2. I like that I am actually a great mother. LOL..Being a mother seemed like a foreign place for me, but now that I have my son there are no words to expressed this unconditional love.
  3. I like that I can forgive people.  I don’t believe in keeping grudges, its a waste of time, especially when the other person is enjoying their life.  Besides life if too short.
  4. I like that I can love hard and have had no regrets for doing so.
  5. I like that I am a city girl.  You can’t pull the wool over these eyes..LOL.
  6. I like that I have continued my love for blogging.  Its been 4 years and counting. So how am I doing so far?
  7. I like that I am creative thinker.
  8. I like that my husband and I can still make each other laugh.  Not everyday is a bed of roses, but through whatever bumpy road we may come across we are in this together.
  9. I like that I can take criticism.  This can be a hard thing to do, but you learn and grow and become a better person because of it.
  10. I like taking risk.
  11. I like that I can make someone feel comfortable in just meeting them in the first five minutes.
  12. I like that I can speak my mind and appreciate it when I get it in return.
  13. I like that I am biracial and so is my son.  It use to bother me when strangers would stop me in the street and ask me if I’m the Nanny, but now I just find it funny (see #3) .
  14. I like that I have curly hair.  There were times that I wished for straight locks, don’t we all wish for what we don’t have.  But I learned to embrace my versatile hair.

Wow, now I feel like I can conquer the world…ok, now its your turn.

Over the 4th of July weekend, Lil B, hubby and I, headed to Long Beach, NY to spend some much needed R&R with friends and family. I am not a beach person (I am still finding sand in my slippers), but since having my son, I have become “Mrs Adventurous” and love seeing things through my son’s eyes.  But mind you, even though sharing this experience was pure joy it was a far cry from just hanging out my with friends.  So take note when bringing your baby to the beach, you need to be particular cautious, especially with those rays of sunshine.

So here are a few tips to keep in mind when going the beach with your baby.

Tip 1: Cover up!  a summer hat, sunscreen (SPF 50), beach umbrella also with a SPF of 50 are must haves when exposing your ‘Lil one to the sun.

Tip 2: With all the beach gear needed to occupy your ‘Lil one plus these; towel, change of clothes, diapers, wipes, beach blanket and a small portable beach chair, I recommend just using one bag for everything.  Moms, I know this sounds like a lot, but your back will thank you in the end.

Tip 3: Get his feet wet!  ‘Lil B was not happy when the “cool” ocean water touch his toes, but by the third or forth lap up and down the beach he soon began to open up and didn’t mind it. Also, don’t forget to protect his tiny feet with water shoes.

Tip 4: Occupy them!  Toys and more toys!

Tip 5: Snack it up.  A hungry baby is not a happy baby so use a soft sided cooler, like PACK IT (Amazon, $19.99), to carry storage for your milk, fruit and water.

Tip 6: Don’t even bother bringing a magazine or book cause you won’t read it.  You’ll be watching your baby like a hawk.  By applying and reapplying sunscreen, checking his diaper and building sand castles. And besides that’s just one extra thing not to bring.

Tip 7: Don’t forget to drink plenty of water!

Tip 8: You’ll need wheels on the beach.  With all the accessories needed for you and your baby, make sure you take a proper stroller (preferably a jogging stroller) or even a beach cart (ie Nantucket Beach Buggy), to carry everything back and forth to/from the car. With the heavy and hot sand this can slow things down or even cause back injury when you have to carry all the beach gear plus your baby so with a cart things can be simple as 1-2-3!

Tip 9: Above all, just HAVE FUN!
